Cork International Folk Dance Club
Cork International Folk Dance Club meets to learn and enjoy a wide variety of traditional folk dances from a wide range of different countries around the world. The variety of dances is enormous in speed, complexity, rhythm, style and formation. For example many of the international folk dances we perform are danced in circles so you don't need a partner. Some, such as American square dances and contras are danced with partners.
Don't be put off if you want to come on your own, you will be made welcome.
Our aim is enjoy ourselves, so you will find that we laugh a lot, especially when the dance doesn't work out exactly as intended.
Music and dance from around the world on Tuesday evenings.
Men and women of all ages and fitness levels are very welcome.
Free admission on your first night.
